This invaluable shipment of antiquities was delivered by a representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the head of the National Museum of Iran during a ceremony on Sunday evening.

In April 2015, Iran received 108 ancient artefacts, known as the Chogha Mish Collections, from the University of Chicago, marking the second successful return of Iranian artefacts in less than a year.

In Dec 2014, a collection of over 300 artefacts discovered in Khurvin, Savojbolagh County, Alborz Province, having been kept in Belgium for 50 years, were also returned to Iran following a verdict by the court of appeals in Belgium.
