Roman kilns discovered in Bulgaria’s Pavlikeni

The new discoveries, made in late May during rehabilitation works on the town’s water supply and sewerage system, suggest that the modern-day town lies on top of an ancient Roman town or villa estate dating back to the second half of the 2nd century AD, according to archaeologists.
